MORINGA MANNA™: The miracle tree, one of moringa’s monikers, has a history of use dating back to 2,000 B.C. Moringa leaf powder comes to us from the moringa tree, said to be one of the most nutritious plants on Earth. Native to the Indian subcontinent, Moringa oleifera is widely cultivated throughout many countries of the tropics and sub-tropics (e.g. Africa, Philippines, Columbia). All parts of the moringa tree have been used in traditional Indian cultures: the bark, sap, roots, leaves, seeds, and flowers. Moringa leaf is a rich, nutritional powerhouse and a versatile herb that can be enjoyed daily.

Our organic moringa leaf powder is grown in India. It is common for moringa farms in India to grow moringa specifically for the seeds so that the oil can be extracted and sold for cooking; consequently, the low-quality leaves are sold as a byproduct. In contrast, the high-quality moringa leaf we source is from farms that specifically grow the moringa for the leaves, not the seeds. The leaves are harvested before the tree bears fruit (seedpods) to ensure that the leaves retain the highest amount of nutrition possible.
